breaking news
good americans will think of this upon reflection in a much better and far off time than this: it was 2002, what the fuck were miners doing in a coal mine in 2002.

one would think with the agony of the industrial age and the coming and/or argument for the passing of the technology age that the minds used to make those decompression chambers used to 'bring back' the miners would render minning a completely un-life threatening task for humans.

latch to, swing
out on planets of afternoons and humidty, a pencil is stuck behind one's ear. conditionally there since a quarter was placed on a counter. boxed in old cardboard, used for backing framed 'things'. lead to paper occasionally, the sole duty to rest behind either of the two ears. later upon dinner and dark, one goes to retrieve said utencil, failing, no doubt. it occurs to one why it is prudent to wear watches, providing more than time kept.

baseball's latest and increasingly trivial downfall has now been diagnosed. surfing the awful digital cable service provided to the folks in this house (comcast) and coming upon a sliver of the espn classic '1985: year in sports retrospective' or something of that sort, it re-occurs to this writer that wrigley field didn't see a night baseball game until the summer of said year.

being from the new york area the impression upon this 'big' fan of the game that no other fan has suffered more than that of the "sawx" fan proves a false label. the cubbies have not seen a world series game since '45. baseball, as a game of interest, started to become less relevant the season the cubs played 16 home games at night. someone smarter than the author will have some sort of mind numbing statistic or some other science to prove so. i would assume that person has never had their bare feet in the grass after removing their cleats.
